For whatever their logic, they decided that a bagpipe would play taps with the trumpet sounding the echo. Awful!

It was raining before the procession started but it let up by the time we started.

The parade went back to running in the original direction so that it finishes on Front Street. By special request we play "Over There" several times then the grandioso from "Stars and Stripes" going down Front Street.

This concert was put on in memory of Richard Furtado a long time member of the band who passed away in 2007.

The year before this concert was held in a church hall. This year it is on the facility grounds.

Not many pictures. There was the local newspaper photographer who told me that his pictures would be available on the web within a week. They were there but I would have to pay. They weren't that good anyway.

Another first for us. Rehab Associates asked us to furnish music For their Norwood facility. This time of year it is always risky to plan on an outdoor concert so they arranged for us to play in a church hall in Norwood.
